so just got carried by double damage double cast soverign blades

got a pretty sweet run with defect on dark + quadracast

his new status card gimmick is actually pretty ebin

it just relies on you finding a compress card early on

and that power that allows you to draw extra card if you draw status card

overall I think they managed to fix almost all of defect's issues

specifically, his overreliance on focus (having multiple sources to gain temporary focus is way better than folding every run that did not draw defragment in sts1)

i hated defect

defect was my second favourite, got to a20 with him but fuck my winrate was way lower than on silent on high ascensions

also im pretty think stardust is better than seven stars if you get a big star generation setup

in my last run i could get to like 15 on turn 2

it was essentially get powers that buff first attack of the turn, get big energy and play the X attack for 500 to oneshot final boss

also hot tip, if you use the 'make a card 1 energy more expensive and give it replay 1' on a X cost card, it will still play for X rather than X-1
